Mission Statement
The Financial Aid Office provides financial aid assistance to eligible students. This goal is accomplished through coordination of government, community, and American Jewish University (AJU) resources within the framework of federal, state and AJU regulations and policies. The business of the Financial Aid office is conducted according to the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Statement of Ethical Principles (Appendix A).
American Jewish University Financial Aid Policy and Procedure Manual is a resource to assist the Director of Financial Aid to meet this goal. If an issue is not addressed in the Financial Aid Policy and Procedure Manual, the Director of Financial Aid is expected to use professional judgment based upon the established policy for the administration of all Financial Aid programs as outlined in the manual.
