The Burton Sperber Jewish Community Library of Los Angeles at American Jewish University was dedicated by the Sperber Family in memory of noted philanthropist and landscape developer Burton Sperber.

The library offers free access to thousands of resources including books, audiobooks, movies and music, including many Jewish-themed resources that are not freely available elsewhere in Los Angeles. We strive to become a community focal point for Jewish intellectual and cultural life in Los Angeles by offering informative and relevant programming to everyone, regardless of denominations and affiliations. Come enjoy our facility and participate in a variety of programs for adults, children and families, book and film clubs, and literary events with noted authors. Join our community of book lovers and learners.

We believe the Burton Sperber Jewish Community Library can be the heart and pulse of our community’s intellectual and cultural life–creating the next generation of Jews who understand and embrace Jewish life in all its diversity.
