How do we See the Other? Jews, Plagues and Xenophobia

Join Jonathan Dobrer for our third installment in this lecture series, followed by a discussion about how we see the strangers among us. Do we perceive those with plagues, diseases and xenophobia differently from ourselves?
Jonathan Dobrer teaches Current Events at the American Jewish University and has taught at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He is a graduate of USC and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He studied philosophy in Vienna and spent two years in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. Jonathan also specialize in Comparative Religion, specifically, how Christianity developed from Hebrew scriptures, stories and archetypes; and how Islam grew from both Judaism and primitive Christianity. He also specializes in Islam.
