The Accounting Office is a unit in Finance and Administration Division. Our staff is dedicated to offering the best possible, highest quality services to our customers. Our office provides and promotes rigorous standards of technical accounting, budget execution, and financial reporting to meet the business and management needs of campus customers and external constituents.
The Accounting Office is responsible for the implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, and reporting. Financial data is reported to the Board of Directors and other individuals and departments for use in making management decisions affecting daily operations and long-range planning.
Our functions include payroll, contracts and grants, and general accounting.
We provide and maintain the official accounting records and related systems of internal control in accordance with accounting principles, university policy, the federal government, and external funding sources.
