Why did you choose to work in Jewish Education?
Jewish values are humanistic values. What we teach is applicable all over, and it was these Jewish values that brought me back into Judaism as an educator after not practicing for years. The values enrich and inform my ECE practice.
What appeals most to you about our program?
The flexibility afforded by being online was a major appeal. Working in ECE, you often work long, hard hours and being a parent, employee, and student would require flexibility.
What is your favorite part about being an educator?
Seeing children grow in their empathy and care of the community is my favorite part of being an educator. They go from being cared-for, to doing the caring.
