Jane Simon

I have been in the field of ECC since my days as a student teacher at The Sarah Lawrence College Early Childhood Center. Captivated by young children and how they learn, I continued my studies and earned my MA at SUNY Buffalo. I have spent the majority of my career in Lab school settings, including Stanford University's Bing Nursery School and Mills College's Children's School. My work in Jewish ECC is continually inspired by the richness of Jewish values, culture and tradition. In 2020 I was thrilled to join JECELI as a mentor and am currently a consultant at Temple Sinai Preschool in Oakland and a mentor for the AJU Master's program in Jewish ECE.
