The Russian-Ukrainian War and Ukrainian Jews
Tuesday, 1pm PST
Join Dr. Oleg Ivanov former Jewish Diplomatic Corps Coordinator at the World Jewish Congress and Russian Speaking Jewish Project Coordinator at JDC Entwine, for an in-depth conversation on the Russian-Ukrainian War, including the Ukrainian Jewish community, refugee situation, and relief effort.
Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Dr. Ivanov emigrated to the United States before the collapse of the USSR and is currently involved in providing direct support and relief to Ukrainians. He is in touch daily with people on the ground in Ukraine, as well as those in neighboring countries, doing what he can to help those fleeing the invasion to evacuate and receive food, medicine, shelter, and supplies they need to survive, while also raising funds for the Ukrainian relief effort. He is joined by Nathan Miller, former Director of Speechwriting for Israel's Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

Dr. Oleg Ivanov is a nonprofit professional, educator, freelance writer and editor whose work focuses on Jewish and Eastern European affairs. He has served as the Jewish Diplomatic Corps Coordinator and Digital Campaign Manager at the World Jewish Congress and the Russian Speaking Jewish Project Coordinator at JDC Entwine.
