High Holy Days 101: Ten Days to Change Your Life
Do the High Holy Days leave you mystified, overwhelmed, and maybe even a little terrified? Good… they are supposed to! Whatever your Jewish story, come learn how the two most powerful days on our calendar can stretch your heart and change your perspective. No experience necessary!
Part I: Rosh Hashanah 101 (September 7): Listen to the sounds of the shofar. Experience a virtual apples and honey tasting. Explore a book full of prayers about life and death, that gets to what's really real. Prepare to start a new year with intention and purpose.
Part II: Yom Kippur 101 (September 14): Do people really change? Yom Kippur teaches the pathway to authentic, lasting change (no shortcuts, just meaningful spiritual work). Learn what to wear (whites), what to eat (nothing), and what's at stake (everything) on the holiest day of the year.
This event will be LIVE on Zoom at 5:00pm PDT. With the purchase of a ticket, attendees will receive a recording of the class afterward.
The Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur classes are separate - you must purchase a ticket for both in order to attend both and receive the recordings.
