Fashion Matters with Curator and Fashion Historian Ya'ara Keydar
9am PDT
Fashion matters. To the economy, to society and to each of us personally. Faster than anything else, what we wear tells the story of who we are – or who we want to be. Fashion defines how we emerge from crises and how we celebrate our greatest joys. Join Israeli curator and fashion historian Yaara Keydar in conversation with AJU's chief curator, Dr. Rotem Rozental as they discuss bold Israeli designers, explore how fashion, ritual and Judaism intersect, the influences of Judaism on designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, and the debut of Israel's famed Kova Tembel at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
