Join Dr. Rachel Korazim for an exploration of this sensitive theme in Israeli literature: even the most ardent Zionist immigrants experienced difficulty adjusting to their new land. Through prose and poetry of Rachel, Lea Goldberg, Agi Mishol, Balfour Hakak, Amos Oz and more, we will read and listen to homesickness for the old country and also, expressions of hope for a better future in Israel.
Presented with the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America
