Event Details
In this class we will look at the last book of the Torah, Deuteronomy, and what happened to the Israelites after Moses dies and Joshua takes over leadership-- the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel 1 and 2, and Kings 1 and 2. Was the Israelite march on Canaan really a quick affair as the the Bible suggests? What was the relationship of the tribes to each other as they settled the land? Why was there a need for a king? What was the relationship of Saul and David? Why is David considered our greatest king? Why did the kings of northern kingdom transgress? We will answer these and many other interesting questions in our class. Be prepared for lively discussions and lots of fun.
