What Kind of Person Should I Be? Exploring the Ethics of the Ideal Person. Made possible through a generous grant from Pat (z"l) and Arnold Gittelson. What Kind of a Person Should I Strive to Be? Jewish Visions of the Ethics of the Ideal Person Ancient and Medieval Jewish Visions of the Ideal Jew In each class, Rabbi Dorff will present different chapters from his book Modern Conservative Judaism: Evolving Thought and Practice. This class will meet in Century City. Address to be provided upon registration. May 22: Determining Conservative Jewish Practice and Women in Jewish Life May 29: Rulings on Bioethics June 5: Rulings on Business Ethics and Ritual Observance June 12: Moral Guidance on Social issues June 19: Moral Guidance on Sex and Family Life, and Rulings on Life in the State of Israel This seminar is approved for MCLE General Education credit by the State Bar of California. Participation is limited. Each seminar is 1.5 credits and the series is 7.5 credits.
