AJU's Whizin Center, in conjunction with the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL), presents this critically acclaimed documentary about a clandestine group of scholars and community leaders within the Warsaw Ghetto who fought the Nazis with pen and paper by hiding treasured archives that were found after the war.

The film mixes these writings with new interviews, rarely seen footage and stunning dramatizations to transport us inside the Ghetto and the lives of these courageous resistance fighters. They defied their murderous enemy with the ultimate weapon – the truth – and risked everything so that their archive would survive the war, even if they did not.

Join us after the screening for a conversation between the film's Director, Writer & Producer Roberta Grossman, and Holocaust scholar & Director of AJU's  Sigi Zieging Institute, Michael Berenbaum
