Event Details

Join us for fascinating discussions with the author of the book Famous Father Girl: A Memoir of Growing Up Bernstein, Jamie Bernstein, in conversation with Robert Fink, Professor of Musicology and Chair of Music Industry at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Enjoy coffee and dessert and meet the author during the book signing following.

In her deeply intimate book, the author offers a rare look at her father, Leonard Bernstein, composer of On the Town and West Side Story and chief conductor of the New York Philharmonic. His family lived under the shadow of the country’s most renowned musician and in her moving and often hilarious memoir, his daughter invites us into her family’s private world.
