Hear the latest breakthrough on how your gut affects your memory, mood, anxiety, depression, weight and aspects of your health we never imagined. The link between your gut and your brain is one of the most revolutionary, mind-blowing areas of science and medicine today. Unfortunately, some of what is being reported is filled with inaccurate information and marketing that has little to no science behind it. Hear the scoop on what are the scientifically valid ways you can optimize your gut/brain health and what is just myth, hype and marketing.

Dr. Milstein earned both his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry and his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UCLA. His doctoral research uncovered the role of a protein called “R1N1” that suppresses breast cancer.  Interestingly R1N1 is also involved in memory, and this discovery ignited Dr. Milstein’s fascination into how the brain and body work in concert. Dr. Milstein has conducted research on topics including genetics, cancer biology, neuroscience, and infectious disease, and his work has been published in multiple scientific journals. Dr. Milstein received the prestigious California Breast Cancer Research Fellowship Award in recognition of his work.

He specializes in taking the leading science research on human health, productivity, and happiness, and presents it in a way that entertains, motivates and offers his audience key solutions to live better. Dr. Milstein is a frequent health expert in the media and has explained and clarified cutting edge science on the Dr. Oz show as well in the Huffington Post, USA Today and Weight Watchers magazine. His presentations cover cutting-edge brain science topics such as sleep, memory, learning, emotions, and even how our DNA and trillions of cells work in concert with our environment to determine our health and lower risk for disease.

Dr. Milstein specializes in connecting the latest research from multiple science disciplines and integrating this complex information into a clear, accurate picture for physicians, therapists, companies, and anyone who is looking for clear solutions to improve our health and happiness.
