The AJU campus offers a beautiful oasis with modern residence halls, artistic treasures, and views of the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica Mountains. All of our dorms and apartments are located in a peaceful park-like setting adjacent to the main campus.
On-campus living provides an education that extends beyond academics, giving students experiential growth derived from living in community and sharing a space. Community living skills are directly transferable to future work and spousal relationships and provide vital opportunities to strengthen communication skills and to practice conflict resolution.
Our trained Residents Assistants and on-call response team proactively provide students with tools for navigating on-campus interpersonal relationships, and are trained in mediation and first-aid.
Our four residence halls each feature 24 spacious rooms, a kitchen, and community spaces. Students enjoy the conveniences of one private bath per room, air-conditioning, and cable and Wi-Fi ready rooms. Each double room is fully furnished with two desks, two twin-sized beds, two dressers and two closets. Many rooms offer spectacular views of the Santa Monica Mountains and the San Fernando Valley.

Unlike almost everywhere else in the vibrant (and large) city of Los Angeles, American Jewish University offers free, plentiful parking to its students and visitors.
In addition, residents each receive an individual assigned parking place close to the dorms.
On upper campus, where the residence halls are located, students also enjoy a host of other amenities aimed and created community and comfort while on campus.
There is a full gym available to any student, resident or not, so they can work off the stress of studying or simply get in some exercise. The Auebauch Student Union is a quiet (or lively, depending on the day) place to hang out and study, or gather with friends. Outdoor types can kick the ball on our soccer field or practice their layup on our basketball courts all while enjoying expansive views of the Los Angeles Basin.
The American Jewish University campus is patrolled 24/7 by our diligent and experienced security guards. Our apartments and dormitories are well-lit and located in Bel Air, one of the most secure areas of Los Angeles. For the safety and protection of our students and community, residents carry electronic swipe cards to access their dorms, and are required to check-in their guests with the Residence Life Office.
