American Jewish University, with its two distinct campuses, provides students with a broad spectrum of opportunities.

We are an American Jewish University for the entire community: college students, graduate students, aspiring rabbis, Jews of every age, belief, background and denomination, and non-Jews as well. We invite you to learn more about our wealth of programs, how we are impacting the world and how you, too, can become a part of our extended community. We invite you to visit and explore our campuses and their beautiful surroundings.

  • Invest in the Familian Campus

The Familian Campus (FC), characterized by contemporary open-air architecture and grassy, tree-lined walkways, is set on 27-acres adjacent to one of the most desirable neighborhoods in L.A. Located on a rustic hilltop which offers panoramic views, FC is within a 30 minute drive to Hollywood, the beaches and other major L.A. sites. The Familian Campus is rich with resources, including the Ostrow Library, home to over 120,000+ volumes; the Gindi Auditorium; Art Galleries; Sculpture Gardens, Conference Center, David Shapiro Memorial Synagogue, Berg Kosher Dining,  and much, much more.

  • Invest in the Brandeis Bardin Campus

The 3,000 acre Brandeis-Bardin Campus (BBC), nestled in the Simi hills 45 minutes from Los Angeles, has a kibbutz-like feel which many compare to Israel. The BBC is a working ranch with countless hiking trails, camping areas, swimming pools, gardens, and wildlife. On any given day you might see horses running down the hillside, wild cattle grazing, or peacocks wandering through the campus. BBC is also home to our world renowned summer programs, including Camp Alonim and the Brandeis Collegiate Institute (BCI).
