The Graduate School of Nonprofit Management is pleased to launch new immersive graduate certificate programs in social entrepreneurship and fundraising. 

The Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship is intended for the social entrepreneur who wishes to acquire additional knowledge, skills and tools needed to bring innovative nonprofit ventures into existence and allow them to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.  

The Graduate Certificate in Fundraising is intended for nonprofit leaders who want the expertise needed to excel in the growing field of fundraising and philanthropy. The five courses for the Certificate will cover in depth: leadership skills, the latest donor solicitation technology, trends in giving, and the art of relationship building.

  • Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship

    Social entrepreneurs are prepared to thrive in our rapidly changing world by gaining the relevant knowledge, skills and tools necessary to bring innovative social ventures into existence. The Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship offers 5 courses, including social advocacy, in which students gain and apply real-time knowledge through interactive classes, case studies practicums and field experience. The most current financial sustainability models are learned and analyzed. Venture philanthropists co-teach several courses.

  • Graduate Certificate in Fundraising

    This certificate program focuses on the leadership skills and expertise needed to excel in the exponentially growing fields of nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship in fundraising and philanthropy. The certificate offers 5 courses that engage students in financial models of sustainability, and high-level donor cultivation. Content covered in courses includes real-time grant writing proposals that are submitted to operating foundations, solicitation of individuals for gifts, creation and implementation of strategic fundraising plans in the organizations where they work or volunteer. The most current fundraising trends including online platforms are learned and analyzed along with intricacies of planned giving and multi-generational endowment campaigns.

    Applicants to the Certificate Program must meet the following criteria:

    1. Demonstrated leadership experience
    2. Bachelor Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university, minimum 2.5 GPA
    3. A completed, signed application submitted online.
    4. Completion of Essays (see Essay Questions; uploaded with the online application.
    5. One reference (Please forward recommendation letter link available here)
    6. Short live/digital interview

  • Program Costs

    Program Costs which include the 5 courses are $5000.00.  The application fee is $25. Please contact us for additional information and payment structure.
