Mark Bookman, Professor Emeritus of Business and Law at American Jewish University, is a consultant and legal advisor for a wide range of nonprofit organizations and associations. Mark continues to teach Policy, Law and Tax for the Graduate School of Nonprofit Management.
 
At AJU, Mark has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Provost. He has taught Business Law, Accounting, Constitutional Law and the Service Sector in the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as Human Resource Management and Law and Tax for the MBA program.

Prior to joining AJU, Mark served as Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs at the University of Houston and General Manager of the Associated Students, California State University, Chico.

Since 2003, Mark has been a member of the Senior Commission of Schools and Colleges, and has served on its executive committee since 2006. Mark received his BA and law degree from UCLA and has been a member of the California Bar since 1973.
