Consuelo is a guest lecturer for the Grantsmanship and Program Assessment course for the Graduate School of Nonprofit Management. She is an independent fundraising consultant and grant writer with eight years of experience specializing in institutional fundraising from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies. In her current role, Consuelo guides nonprofit clients with capacity building and long-term strategic planning that integrates fundraising and programmatic priorities. Her work focuses on grants management, proposal development and reporting, prospecting, research, and relationship management for organizations working in preK-12 education, humanitarian aid, health and human services, arts and culture, medical research, and environmental conservation. Previously, Consuelo held various fundraising positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Reading Partners, and the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
