Alison Shlomi (LCSW 82018) has a unique connection to the AJU Intro to Judaism students, as she was a graduate of the program in 2014 and now facilitates our Intro to Judaism support groups. Alison is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Larchmont Village. Alison treats a variety of symptoms including but not limited to anxiety, depression, eating disorders and food behaviors, trauma, relationship and family issues, grief and loss, low self-esteem, personal growth and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach involves compassion, exploration and insight. Her goal is to assist clients in coping with emotions and stress, changing self-destructive behaviors and better connecting with others
